Rates on the rise
Rates are on the move this week, at least for the 5 year term, as rising
bond yields are catching up to mortgage rates and lenders are starting
to increase rates. Variable rates remain attractive and unchanged
although eventually the prime will start to increase as well. But prime
would have to move a lot before a variable would surpass today’s 5 year
fixed rates.
